BECOME A MEMBER OF FOXROCK LOCAL HISTORY CLUB
You may now enrol as a member of Foxrock Local History Club. Heretofore the club consisted principally of the committee members. Friends and the public who attended our monthly talks paid at the door, and are very welcome to continue to do so.
However there are benefits both to individuals and the club in becoming a member. A general membership secures the future of the club, drawing in new active members and for generating a pool of potential new committee members. It is anticipated that the general members will contribute their views to our AGM held each November and help to elect new committee members. Members have free admittance to our monthly talks. All members are encouraged to be active where possible in the development of the club and in enlivening its events.
Membership fees or Pay at the door
The annual membership subscription remains at € 25 for 2017. The system of payment at the door for our series of monthly lectures will continue as before for non-members. Some of our regular attenders may wish to continue in this fashion and will be as welcome as hitherto at our meetings.
The door charge for a public lecture meeting will be € 5 in 2017.
We usually have eight or nine public lectures in the year.
You may enrol as a member at our next meeting
Just pay €25 for the year 2017 and we will issue a receipt and a membership card will follow.
